Shipping & Returns

Delivery times

If you choose our standard delivery your order will usually be shipped within seven working days after receipt of your payment. In case we do not have in stock one of the products you ordered and during busy times a short delay is possible. Deliveries will be made Monday-Friday between 9.00am-5.30pm specific delivery times and Saturday deliveries are available but additional charges apply please email or phone us for a quote if you require these services.

Delivery location

For Security, Delivery will only be made to the address attached to the credit card. We do not deliver to alternate addresses without prior authorisation please contact us first to arrange this. ALL DELIVERIES MUST BE SIGNED FOR.

Failed Deliveries

We use a courier service for the majority of our dispatches, most of our couriers will attempt delivery and if unsuccessful they will hold the goods in their nearest depot to you for collection. or re-delivery (re-delivery charges apply) If collection is not made within 7 days the goods will be returned to us at a charge that will be passed on to you. Keeping the above in mind please do not arrange delivery to a location where you will not be able to accept it.

Out Of Stock Items and Back Orders

We always aim to keep our website up to date. At busy times several customers may place orders for the same item causing them to go out of stock. If you need to check the availability of items in your order please contact us by phone on 023 8022 4917 or make a note in the notes section when processing your order.

Next Working Day Service

For our Next Working day service all orders must be placed by 1pm Monday to Thursday unfortunately this service is not available for weekend deliveries. Please note the delivery will be made on the Next Business Working day only, this excludes Bank Holidays, Business holidays and times when we are closed.

Who are our carriers?

Over 90% of orders placed on our site are despatched by Interlink Express. however we may send the parcel out using a different courier service or our own vans if we feel it is more appropriate. Standard UK Mainland delivery is 2 to 3 working days. However, please allow a maximum of up to 14 working days. Selecting the Next Day Express service will ensure that your goods are delivered sooner. If you are unsure when your parcel will be delivered, please call us.

Some of our larger items have to be sent on a pallet - these are sent using the Pallet Network. Please call us for delivery lead-times and prices.

Most large units are kerbside delivery only unless by prior arrangement.

How do I get my order quickly?

We offer each of our customers the option of having their goods placed on a Next Working day deliveryif required. This excludes Bank Holidays and weekend periods. Please see above for the current prices. The service is trackable and you are able to obtain further details by following the details on your order.

How do I track my parcel?

In order to keep track on the status of your goods, please log onto www.interlinkexpress.co.uk and use the consignment number that is sent to you via email, when the goods are despatched from our warehouse.

Problems?

In the highly unlikely event you should have a problem with your order please contact us.

We unfortunately are unable to guarantee delivery services, as we rely on a third party (our carrier), however, over 95.% of deliveries are achieved on time.

All deliveries are supplied with an invoice detailing all prices and products. Should you loose this, please log into your account online and print another copy or contact us and we will supply one.


Shortages & Damages

All deliveries should be accompanied by a detailed invoice (with an attached card reciept if you have paid by card). Please check deliveries to this invoice not your original web order as occasionally some items may sell out or be discontinued between the times of you placing the order and it being dispatched. If you cannot find this invoice please contact us and we will supply a copy. (please ensure you have checked thoroughly before requesting a new copy, including inside the cardboard flaps of all the boxes or attached to the exterior wrap on pallets).

If after you have received your order and checked it to the invoice with it, you still believe items are not present or damaged please contact us in writing within the next 2 working days providing all necessary details and images (when needed) and we will try and resolve this for you. (If you do not notify us within this time we will not be able to process your claim.)

If your delivery is visibly damaged on the exterior of the box please make sure you sign for it as 'DAMAGED'. We cannot process claims where it has been signed for without comment or as 'UNCHECKED'.

Right to return goods

You have the right to return ordered goods within 14 days after receipt. If you return the goods within the 14-day term, this will be considered as admissible revocation of the purchase contract. To meet the 14-day term it is sufficient to return the goods in time to: Tool Monster, 72-94 Millbank Street, Northam, Southampton, Hants, SO14 5QN. It is not necessary to give any reason for the return. Payments already made will be reimbursed to you after receipt of the returned goods. Goods manufactured to your specifications and clearly tailored for individual needs are excluded from the right of return. In case goods are culpably destroyed, damaged or depreciated in value through use by you or a person attributed to you, you have to make a compensation for the goods value or for its depreciation in value. We will not accept returned goods without a valid returns form and number which will need to be obtained from us prior to any return. We do not re-imburse carriage costs for goods being returned to us. All goods being returned may be subject to a admin and restocking charge of 20% or £5.00 (whichever is greater) of value of goods returned.
